Hi enewseven! No personal experience, but I have friends who go to Cap Juluca every year. They say it has the best beach, food and service.

Re: Anguilla
I keep seeing this Castlecove Resort in Anguilla here on LL and while I'm tempted to book it, I'm also unable to find any reviews on this property. I'd hate to go somewhere, spend that type of $$$$ and be surprised !!!

Hi. We go to Anguilla twice a year and love it! It is a smaller island. Wonderful food and people.

Covecastles is beautiful, private and in a great location! (Also, tennis courts.) It is close to a few nice restaurants. It is very private!

Re: Anguilla
I've looked at their web site, and I'm very interested in booking this trip but I don't see a pool anywhere there with the exception of the Pavillion which is the large rental house (which is out of my price range). My fiancee really wants a common pool as well....

You can't go wrong in Anguilla!!! Having been married there and back several times since, I am a liitle partial but the island and people are wonderful. The food is great. Check out Straw Hat, Mangos, Blanchard, & Olivers for some of the best dining in the entire Caribbean.
Lots of great places to stay and many great beaches!

Re: Anguilla
What are you looking for? Do you want to be on the beach? Do you want a resort (room service, amenities, etc) or do you want a villa? I would use this as a guide. You can't go wrong with either choice. Anguilla has all types of accommodations to meet all types of budgets. Also, what month do you plan to go? The nice part about Anguilla is that it doesn't have as many tourists (YET!) but it has alot to do. Try sailing with Rollins on his boat, Chocolat, go shelling on a deserted beach, definitely join in at a local barbecue (B & D's!), listen to music and have great chicken & ribs at Uncle Ernie's on the beach!

Re: Anguilla
I'm still looking into Anguilla as a honeymoon destination. Are there any new resorts set to open here in 2007. I think that Cap Juluca and Cuisinart are very nice, but I want something a little bit more of a boutique resort. Is 7 nights in Anguilla too long or just right as far as length of stay goes ?

Re: Anguilla
Hi. We go twice a year to Anguilla and I might be able to assist. Viceroy and St. Regis MIGHT have openings for 2007. You might want to email them directly. They will be a villa community but I have also heard a hotel located on the grounds. (not too sure.) Have you looked at Malliouhana on Meads Bay? It is located on a beautiful beach. They have a great main restaurant and a smaller beach restaurant. The atmosphere is alittle Moroccan. I love the place. The rooms are huge. You also have a choice of villa type accommodations. I would choice Malli over Cap and Cuisinart. It really depends on your taste and budget. For example, price range, do you need extras such as room service, tennis, etc. I would also look at Covecastles. We go shelling by the property. It is very private and would make an amazing honeymoon destination. 7 nights is just about right for a trip. Again, it depends what you want to do. Anguilla doesn't have alot of sights. It really is about relaxation. Of course, if you wanted alittle more action, you could ferry over to St. Maarten. On Anguilla, there is a great catamaran tour with Rollins on his boat, Chocolat. ( a must do!). Also, there is horseback riding. (never have done it but heard great things.) Wow, I could go on and on. Throw out some of your likes and dislikes and I can help narrow down some ideas.
