ANTIGUA: A LAND OF FABULOUS BEACHES
According to Antigua's tourism bureau, there are 365 beaches on the beautiful Caribbean island. So, a traveller could go to Antigua for a year and go to the beach every day but never go back to the same beach twice!

Turner Beach is a prime destination for visiting cruise ship passengers who can buy local jewellery right on the sugary sand, get their hair braided at the same time, soak up the sunshine, sip a cold Wadadli beer, and enjoy a meal at a beachside restaurant. Elsewhere, Dickenson Bay is a fabulous destination for beach seekers and the closest beach to St. John's, the capital and largest city. Jolly Beach offers amazing mountain views, incredible sunsets, a casino, lots of local shopping outlets nearby and many great restaurants. Hawksbill Beach is a favourite of folks who don't like tanlines. Carlisle Bay in the south has a terrific beach with sand the colour of brown sugar and features amazing snorkeling opportunities along the reef about a thousand feet off the beach. Re: ANTIGUA: A LAND OF FABULOUS BEACHES
Hi Curt. Have you been to Antigua? It's on my list, but I'm looking for more first-hand reviews of some of the resorts, especially those featured on LL. Cocobay has had some mixed reviews, and Hermitage Bay looks like it is skyrocketing in price!

Hi disneygal
Not yet. But, based on my reading and Internet surfing, I'm looking forward to enjoying the scenery, friendly people and fabulous beaches of this Caribbean island gem.
