Westin has a new resort opening in St. Martin this year.
The are several new places opening in Anguilla.
I can give you lots of information on Anguilla. We were married there 8 years ago and have been back several time since.
The beaches are some of the best in the caribbean (top 5) The food is great and the people are very nice.
write me back and I can giveyou more info on Anguilla, St. Barts, Turks& Cacios, St.Martin, St. Lucia, Grenada, etc.

Enewseven, "Couples" resorts are opening a 370-room all-inclusivehotel in Trelawny in Jamaica. It is going to be part of the "Harmony Cove" resort and like the other "Couples" resorts it is an adults only resort. Another new resort opening is by the "Divi" chain. They are opening a 275-room luxury beachfront resort in Bonaire in 2008. This will also be an all-inclusive resort, the first of it's kind in Bonaire.

There are actually quite a few resorts actually opening next year. Here are some details of some of them. Firstly, The Verandah on N.E. coast of Antigua adjacent to a National Park with nature trails and powder white sand beach due to open later in the year. Also the Almond Casuarina Beach Resort opening in Christchurch in Barbados due to open in March and Almond Smugglers Cove Resort in St. Lucia which will open in February. It is an all-inclusive resort on Cap Estate with 5 bars and four gourmet restaurants. Another resort which you should check out is the Westin Roco Ki Beach and Golf Resort which will open in Punta Cana in the Dom. Republic. I think the 20 luxury jungle bungalows sound as though they could be popular. This one is due to open on December 1st. And finally the Renaissance Curacao Resort and Casino which will be a AAA -4 diamond resort situated on the waterfront of Willamsted. Some of the features are a six-screen cinema and casino. Hope this is what you arelooking for. Cheers

I'm looking for a resort that has enough night life for my kids in there early 20 and for me in my late 40. We all like water sports and some local sight seeing plus day adventures but appreciate lying in a hammock or on a chaise with a good book. Food is important too and sometimes an all inclusives will works well. Always nice to go to some of the local resturants and other hotels for late lunches and dinners by the water too..
Barbados has some of the best beaches and the community makes tourist feel safe. This is really important. for us.
Is this new resort a place that a family with older children would enjoy?
Are there any homes that would also suite our needs that might be associated with resorts and hotels that you would also recommend. need accomadation for 4-6 people over Christmas holidays 2007
Thank you.
Martha

Hi MaryJ - Thanks for the new opening info - especially Antigua - We've never been there & would love to go. Turks and Caicos is busting with new properties Mandalay bay is Building there - The Sheik of Quatar is building there now etc etc Provodenciales is the place to look for new resorts - they are building there like crazy. Also Grand Turk has a new cruise ship port. Ocean Club in Providenciales - Turks and Caicos was our fabulous destination last May. Ocean Club is not new but can't be beat for location and amenities - also fun friendly private condo owners. Ahhh travel memories ...Funtimes
