Well, on paper Curtain Bluff looks good. However, another popular travel site had some reviews that said the food was mediocre/bad, the beds were problematic, and the AI food was so-so.
Anyone been there recently? I find it hard to believe that CB would be a LL property if it was truly that bad...
Thanks.

My husband and I have been at CB twice and have another stay planned in November. It is easily one of our favorite destinations. We stay in a suite which has an air-conditioned bedroom, a huge sitting room and a separate outdoor dining area and a hammock, with views over the Bluff. The food is fresh, varied and delicious. We especially love eating lunch at the open air pavillion at the beach where there are often 4 different grilled fish at the buffet. Dinner is an elegant affair in the outdoor dining room where we listen to live music every night. The beach is glorious. Each private hut is positioned far enough away from each other that you never hear your neighbors' conversations. The beverage service at the beach is so gracious, as our the entire staff. The gentleman who founded the resort has financially supported the families of many of its workers and the sense of family is tangible everywhere. The new spa is supposed to be terrific; I have exercised at the workout room. We can not wait to return. I would be happy to answer any specific questions at [email protected]
