Considering going to DR, wife, 3 year old son and nanny....any suggestions on where to stay...like to have gambling/golf and beach at or near by...

Afew resorts which might interest you are The Puntacana Resorts & Club which include the Puntacana Hotel ans Tortuga Bay. Puntacana hotel have either Nature Casitas situated in the forest but close to the beach or the Tortuga Bay has villas with one, two or three bedrooms and are situated right on the beach. They have been designed by Oscar De La Renta so will be very nice These villas either look over the Caribbean Sea or the "La Cana" golf course. I don't know if there is a casino near by or not. This resort is a "member of the small leading hotels of the world".Another resort is Casa De Compo. It is very nice and it actually has three golf courses so you would have plenty choice Another is the Riu Palace Punta Cana. This is another 5 star resort and has lots of activities so would suit the whole family. There are other Riu hotels close by and the onenext door(Riu Palace Macao)has a casino. The beach is very nice here too. I don't know what grade of accommodation you are looking for? These are all 5-star but there are some nice 4-star properties too.You should go on to these hotel's websites and find out more about them. Hope this helps in the meantime. Thanks.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the Puntacana Hotel also has beach casitas situated right on the beach.

Check out the great LL deal to Casa De Campo, although I'm not sure if there is gambling, but the golf is the best on the island. Also the food is a consideration when going to the DR most of the places just have bad food all around, so do your research if that is important to you because I know from experience, it was hard to find decent food there especially if it's all-inclusive.
