Another suggestion is sailing with some of the resorts. For example, Young Island has a stay sail package. You stay on island about 5 nights and then sail through the Grenadines for two nights. When we went, it was only my husband and me and a skipper and cook. It was great. We overnighted at Bequia and Mustique. Biras Creek also has a sail package. This might be nice for people who don't want to sail by themselves.

Yes, I've seen these packages too and they look very tempting. However, I know that when I went sailing there, it was definitely a great idea to have a full week to sail in order to get the full experience. But with that said, these 2 day sail packages would be great as a way to get your feet wet and see if you would like to be sailing for a week, it's not for everyone especially if you tend to get sea sick.

After dozens of trips to the Caribean, my favorite is Half Moon in Jamacia. 400 acres and miles of beachfront, very good food, wonderful older cottages right on the beach...It is almost heaven. Luxury Link used to have offers regularly, but I haven't seen them lately. Half Moon is FAR superior to the Rirz Carlton- Rose Hall

Re: GREAT CARRIBEAN DESTINATIONS
WOW You really love to travel. This sounds wonderful! We pick a caribean island every year to visit for one week to ten days. There are many that we've loved and decide to return several times- so we are not getting through the Carribean very fast but what an experience. Our favorites so far in order would be St Johns, Barbados & Nevis. We prefer seclusion so St Thomas and St Croix were not our favorites. You really can't go wrong though with fun in the sun !!! We would return to Jamaica or Turks&Caicos, but there are so many places to see. safe travels...Funtimes
