GO TO MUSTIQUE!
My husband and I went to the Cotton House for our Honeymoon.
It was absolutely incredible!
The people were accomodating and friendly. . .the resort was beautiful. . .the food delish!
There are no cars on the island. . .everyone drives golf carts! It's only about 3 miles long and full of SPECTACULAR Homesof the Rich and Famous (Mick Jagger's house is on the property and you may even get to meet his dog, Star!) and it's great fun to drive around and explore.
There are only 2 "resorts" on the island and the Cotton House hosts an island wide cocktail party every week! The one local bar on the Island (Basil's) is where all the people boating come in for. Stop in for a beer and some fresh lobster and just take it all in.
We booked it via LuxuryLink and could NOT have been happier!
If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful, romantic vacation. . .you cannot got wrong with The Cotton House!
You won't be upset!

Re: Help with picking an island
Hi Elizabethcollinge. We are headed to Mustique in November and we will stay at the Cotton House also. (package through LL). We had been there in 1999 as we sailed from Young Island (docked in the harbour at nite so didn't stay on land.) Did you stay in the cottage room? If so, what did you think? What month did you visit? How did you enjoy the food (I assume you had the breakfast and dinner included.) Any spa tips? Did you rent a "mule". (We have one reserved for our November visit.) Did you do any sail trips, etc. Thanks for any suggestions. Can't wait to go!!!!
