I have a family of 8 headed to Turks over the Xmas holidays. They are looking for someone to cook and do very light housekeeping duties while they are there. Any suggestions for a resource where I canhire a cook for them? If so please let me know, ASAP. Thank you!

Hi Tracee. I do not know a cook specifically for T & C but I know on Virgin Gorda, some of the restaurants have chefs that are hired out to cook. Check with some of the local restaurants. Many have websites now. Also, try www.tripadvisor.com. Some of the group there might have some references. Good Luck.
PS- Don't they have maid service for their villa? For light housekeeping, check with a villa rental company such as WIMCO to see if they can hire out a housekeeper (maybe even a cook.)
