Luxury properties in Tobago?

Everyone here seems very well traveled so maybe someone could recommend a place to stay in Tobago? We're looking for a peaceful hideaway (no screaming kids or loud nightlife!) for a quiet beach holiday. Tasty cuisine would be a big plus too. Thankyou for any suggestions.

I recommend any property in the Tobago Plantations compound - from private villas, to the Tobago Hilton (I've stayed at both types and really enjoyed it). It's about 10 mins. from the airport, and very close to the beach. If you stay in a villa, you can of-course hire a cook for good local meals, or head to Store Bay where the local food is good, and inexpensive, the beach is popular, and you should definitely take go out to the coral reef/nylon pool. There are many good restaurants, which anyone at the hotel/compound can point you to. I love Tobago, for it's slow pace and great beaches. Just google Tobago Plantations for options.
