Sivory Punta Cana-DON'T GO

I wanted to save anyoen some time and money regarding the Sivory Punta Cana - Domincan Republic. PLEASE DO NOT GO!

Not sure what happened there, but I was not finished! The Sivory is absolutely a terrible resort to travel to.

The positives: The room was decent

The negatives: The food was HORRIBLE - the staff barley spoke enough english to take a restaurant order, therefore your meals never came as requested. Greasy, salty to say the least. While my husband and I though we might be alone in our disappointment, 2 other couples who were with us agreed. Actually, my husband and I got so sick from the food there, we left our trip early. AND so did one of the otehr couples. They had to call for a doctor. Unsure if it was food poisioning or just terible food...iIt was just aweful. The water is rough, not carribean-like, and everything VERY EXPENSIVE. Hamburger $25..and terrible!

They advertise as if they are luxury, but they are not. We advised Luxury Link to remove them from there choices, but they have not. The resort was just aweful. We visited last year, 2006 in the Spring.
