Bagni di Pisa
A couple of years ago, we auctioned a 5 night package at Bagni di Pisa Bagni Di Pisa in Pisa, Italy - Hotel Travel Deals | Luxury Link. We were delighted with the package and its location. We would get our spa treatments in the morning and than take off for sightseeing or daytrips of the area. Bagni di Pisa was a little outside of Pisa, but with the car we had easy access to Pisa, and all the Tuscan cities and villages around it. We also visited on a day trip the villages of Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre (pronounced CHEEN|kweh TEHR|reh) consists of five small villages (“cinque terre” means “five lands” in Italian) which cling to the Ligurian cliffs along Italy’s western coast. They are usually thought of and visited collectively, mostly because they’re so close to one another that you can walk from the first to the fifth in a matter of hours, but there are five different towns and each does have its own personality.
We loved these small villages and thought they were the highlight of our trip.
We are delighted that LL brought back the Bagni di Pisa property for others to enjoy. We can highly recommend it.

Regarding Cinque Terre
Cinque Terre The Cinque Terre: Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola, Corniglia, Riomaggiore is worth a day visit for sure! Others rave about it and spend a week or so...
If you are interested, the best way to visit is to take a train in to the “five lands”. Basically five little villages on the coast. We parked at the La Spezia train station (affordable and secure, covered parking){there might be train service from Pisa as well} and stopped at the first village, Riomaggiore. From there we walked the ‘Lover’s Lane’ to Manarolo (easy 20 mins).
Afterwards, we hopped back on the train and went to Monterosso (the furthermost village to the north) and hiked back to Vernazza (a long, rough walk back which I don’t recommend - 3 long hours). Beautiful views are only seen in the first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes on either side. So maybe walk in 10 minutes and go back from each of the two towns?!
Use the train as much as possible and you will enjoy these little towns! Trains run frequently and you can purchase a Cinque Terre travel card (park admission + day pass for the regional trains) right at the station, saving you a little money rather than purchasing the two separately. (Don’t forget to validate your ticket)Ain't nothing gonna break my stride...
