Barcelona

I am currently planning a trip to Barcelona in late April. I am looking for a small (less than 250 rooms) hotel with great beds and baths, a good concierge and a business center (or access to computer for email). I'm having trouble making a decision. Would also like to stayaway fromLas Ramblas, perhaps in or around Bari Gothic. Any ideas, anyone?

Barcelona - my favorite European city! Luxury Link has a couple listings that might be right up your alley:

1) Hotel Granados 83 - http://www.luxurylink.com/auctions/a...id=162006&nav= it sounds like this is a very hip hotel with just 77 rooms near the city center, it's gotten some good reviews on TripAdvisor:

It sounds like these aren't Barcelona's most luxurious hotels but they have great service, are in good locations near the city center (but not right on Las Ramblas) and have that small hotel feel you are seeking. They both list wireless internet access and business centers. They are part of the same hotel chain Derby hotels: http://www.derbyhotels.es/index.php

I've never stayed at either of these (I haven't been to Barcelona for a while, so don't feel confident giving personal hotel recommendations) but I do find that Luxury Link generally knows how to do it right, you probably won't go wrong with either package.

Westayed at a very nice boutique hotel in Barcelona, called the Prestige. It has only 45 rooms. We were able to walk from there to Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. They did havea small library with laptops available for internet access. It was very modern, and we enjoyedit.

This hotel was in a nice neighborhood, but please be cautious no matter where you stay,as the pickpocketsare out in force in this city. Have a great trip and enjoy!

We spent 7 days at the Hotel Majestic in Barcelona, and it was grand; great location, good business center. If you stay there, ensure that breakfast is included in the rates, as it is a wonderful way to start your day. Barcelona is just a very nice, clean city- We are staying in May at the Hotel Majestic in Rome, a package we got through Luxury Link Auction, and we hope it meets the standards set by the Hotel Majestic, Barcelona.
