crete villas
I came across the Elounda Gulf Villas and Suites and they look spectacular. The photo's of them with their own infinity pools, jacuzzis and the views across the bay from your pool is absolutely breathtaking. It states that no two suites are alike, but wondered if anyone who has stayed there knows if all the suites have those breathtaking views or would you recommend a particular villa to request. I am so undecided at the moment where to book for our holiday later in 2007, there are just so many placesI want to visit, including Maldives, Mexico, India and Bali amongst others.I would normally choose a long-haul destination from the UK, but the Elounda Gulf Villas really caught my attention. I couldn't see them in the Luxury link portfolio. Would L.L. be considering featuring them in the future? If anybody has been to them I would appreciate any info or advice on them. Thanks.

09-08-2010, 01:28 AMI am planning a weekend vacation for my Mum and Dad. I thought that Santorini would be a romantic and perfect place for them. It's their 45th anniversary

Hi mshane,
This weekend vacation for your Mum and Dad for their 45th anniversary sounds wonderful. Where are they coming from? Perhaps England? Keep in mind even from England, it is a long way to get there. Perhaps you should see if you can combine two packages, or find another LL package on another Island to make it worth their while to travel so far from home. As it is, the first day will be taken up with air travel. Probably get there late afternoon/evening. They get one day to rest up and enjoy the view, and then they are heading back, probably early morning on the third day to catch another plane back home to England. This is a lot of wear and tear on two some 65+ aged parents. Santorini is a lovely place, but it is a little far from home for a weekend. Just my two cents worth.....

I'm surprised mshane has gotten away with blatant link to a rental property in Crete (in both of only 2 posts ever) I smell a troll. It's been reported as "suspicious"
"wherever you go, there you are"

Eagle Eye has noticed what I have missed. I didn't realize the link was not for a LL package. Perhaps the post and the link to the villas should be dismissed.
