Switzerland
We are off to Switzerland (Kandersteg, Leukerbad and Zermatt) on Saturday for 12 days. It is a shame that LL does not offer anything in Switzerland! Well, almost nothing, just Zuerich, Geneva, Vevey and Silverplana. However, I found two great packages on E-bay.de and Zermatt we are staying on our own. I am looking much forward to Kandersteg and Leukerbad since these two villages are new for us. For Zermatt, I wonder how much it has changed in 45 years since we climbed the Matterhorn. At the time, it was just a lovely, quaint village with no buses or other than cart transportation to and from the hotel. When I made our hotel reservation, I saw all sorts of high rise buildings and bus stations everywhere. There are still no cars allowed in Zermatt, except for electric vehicles.
Weather is supposed to be bad for the next `10 days, what a bummer, but we hope there will be some light moments where the sun will come out and the mountains will show themselves.
We are packing warm clothes and rain gear.....

Mitchy,
Thanks for asking. We had a wonderful time in Switzerland, except for one day of dismal, heavy rain in Zermatt. Apart from the expense (2 beers and two plates of spaghetti for 57 SF which is the equivalent of about $57), we loved the areas we visited, and I intend to write more about it. Give me a little breather.
Kind Regards,

09-13-2012, 12:02 AMThaialnd for family holiday.
Thai is the destination where every one can do enjoyment or spend time according to their mood.
Thailand has attraction for both local as well as international tourists. There are countless spots like beach, rainforest, water falls, national parks, temples, historical building and much more.
People are cooperative and ready to help unknown person. Bangkok is the capital of Thailand where shopping mall are there for females to purchase quality product at low price.Last edited by johnalan007; 09-16-2012 at 11:18 PM.
