villa for 4 in italy

We are planning a trip to Italy in mid-september, 2012 with another couple for 3 weeks....as part of the trip we are contemplating renting a villa for one or 2 weeks and doing day trips....any recommendations?

Where in Italy do you want to stay?

There are some lovely properties on both LL and familygetaway.com (which is a LL site). Just select the "Villa" category in the Properties Type drop down menu on either website. Villas in Italy that LL has researched and recommended will pop up. Even if they don't offer a package for your size group or vacation time length, I would contact them directly and let them know you are a LL (or family getaway) customer. Sometimes it will help you negotiate a better deal. I have never gone wrong by relying on LL's recommendations. You can always do additional research on places such as Trip Advisor to ensure the property will meet your needs and expectations before booking

You will have to let us all know about your experiences once you return.......it sounds like an exciting trip.

Wow! I wanted to see your site for Lucca as we travel there and always look for
great places to stay. This place looks amazing and is affordable. Do you have
any other villa suggestions for Trieste? Also going to Bolzano in the Dolomites,
open for suggestions there as well. Thanks for the input.
