Please give suggestions on good hotel in Zurich. My first trip - any deals in january 07

It depends on what hotel rating you are wanting. If it is 4 or 5 star you want then the intercontinental is very nice, about 11kms from city centre and they run a shuttle bus to and from the airport. Also the Park Hyatt which is in the city centre is also very nice. Another smaller hotel is the Widder Hotel. This is a very nice hotel situated in a really good position, only 50 metres from the Bahnofstresse. Hope this helps.

if you are near the airport or don't mind taking a quick train into the city try the Movenpick at the airport. It has the best breakfast buffet of anywhere i have been. and is not too expensive.
