80 Days Around The World . . . New Luxury Link Feature
What do you think of the new 80 Days Around The World deals on Luxury Link? I think it's a great idea, especially since you have a week to make up your mind about buying the package. If all of the deals are as good as today's 75% off Ixtapa package, a lot of people are going to be very happy.

Sounds like a good deal if you catch one of the properties you like to go to.

04-28-2011, 12:35 AMIt sounds great--how much was the Capella Ixtapa package for? I missed the beginning of this promotion.

It went for $614, including taxes. That was 75% the list price.

That was certainly a good price for Ixtapa at $614, 75% off list price was very good. The next one in Paris at Mon Hotel at $1800 for 5 nights certainly was not. It was 31% off the rack rate, but LL had it on action a few years back when we stayed there for $560 for 3 nights with all the amenities offered in the $1800 package. Just keep your eyes peeled, more good 75% deals will be coming along in the next 77 days, it's just a question of if you can get away in the given time frame and to the given place.

I wouldn't exactly consider these new offers. I think the promo line that reads " a new hotel deals" needs editing (oh, my!)

I don't think they're new offers; just better prices. The first deal was for 75% off, but the rest of the deals haven't been as good, as LL mentioned. I'm certainly looking to nab a great deal if it comes up.

05-14-2011, 01:04 AMI really like this idea. There are some good deals, however for many I don't notice a big difference with their normal prices. I'm really hoping to be surprised with some new properties.. or better deals. For example. summer is peak season for the Mediterranean.. I'd love to see some deals that can be used in July and August. I need a beach vacation!!! ;-)

Does anybody know how much the San Miguel de Allende deal went for the other day? The deal was over by the time I opened my e-mail at around 9:00 a.m. PST.
