Advanced Search Question

Is anyone else having a problem with Advanced Search? I choose Caribbean as destination and April 2009 as my month of travel but it keeps bringing back all of the destination options and isn't filtering them by month at all for me. I only want to see April 2009. Is there another way to do this? Thanks!

I did a couple of advanced searches for May 2009 and the system brought them up just fine. In any case they system gave me a validity range for the two properties I checked from Jan. to June 31, 2009, and Nov. 1 to May 15, 2009 rather than a specific month. Perhaps this is the difference between the old and the new system.

That's really strange... mine was also bringing up ranges, but they were 2008 ranges, and half the time they didn't even include April. If I use the specific travel dates option it seems to work correctly, but it's never worked for me when using the "by month" options. Well anyway, thanks so much for replying!

as for your question, the travel "by month" feature is old and broken. i'm assuming you're seeing the old search results page. you should not have problems with the new one.

FYI: I'm randomly getting the old broken page, and then other times the new page that works. All I'm doing is typing in www.luxurylink.com in the URL field and hitting enter, so I don't know what's determining which Advanced Search page I'm being taken to, but sometimes I get the new date feature, and other times I get the old "by month" feature. Just so you know.

sorry for the late response...

it sounds broken but i'm not sure. one question will help me verify: when you search, is the search results page different or do you get the same results page every time (new or old)?

also, are you using internet explorer or another browser?

Well, when I use the link you sent me previously in this thread, I get taken to the Search page that asks for the exact dates I will be traveling, which works correctly.



But when Ijust type http://www.luxurylink.com in my URL field and hit Enter, I am taken to different Search screens each day. Like all day today it has been the broken one, the one that still uses a drop down for the Month of Travel. Other days it's the same as the link you sent me which is the one that works correctly.



And the problem occurs on both the actual Search page as well as the little box on the right-hand side of the home screens.



Oh, and I am using Internet Explorer, and the problem occurs on two different computers.



I hope this helps! It will be much nicer using this site when it's all fixed. Thanks for looking into it!
