Alaska Airlines getting roasted for dropping prayer cards
Many people around the U.S. are up in arms since Alaska Airlines announced that they were no longer going to distribute prayer cards on flights. I read some of the rants on a blog and some people are so upset, they're going to boycott the airline. There number of people who were upset was far greater than the number of people who supported the airline. I had always felt that it was very odd that Alaska pushed religion on their flights. What do you think?

Interesting people getting upset over Alaska Airlines' announcement to drop prayer cards on their flights. I have not seen that practice on any other airline I ever have flown on.

I am one of those that enjoyed the cards and looked forward to them. I never felt that the airline was "pushing" religion, as you could chose to look at it or not. Much the same way I don't feel like religion is being pushed on me when I stay at a hotel with a bible in the drawer. I'm sad to see them go.

Is Alaskan Airline the only airline that issued prayer cards? I have never come across that procedure on any of the international airlines or European airlines.
