Oh....I wasn't aware of the interior change. Interesting. We do enjoy the wide body 777 from BA to Miami...it is a nice plane. Wonder about the differences in the new planes?

I think the new AA B-777ERs (featuring the new interiors) are slated for their Brazil flights out of DFW....at least initially:

02-02-2013, 03:21 PMWe recently completed a first class flight to Hawaii on a Boeing 767-300. The seats were almost-lay flat seats and very comfortable. Surprisingly, the headphones were BOSE.
The plane still showed the old AA Logo, but we saw the new logo recently while flying to Europe and I was not bowled over by it. I thought there was nothing wrong with the old AA logo.

THanks for the merger update. Should be interesting. Hope they put my AA and US miles together and give me a bonus. (just like United and Continental).

Let the games begin - it is big news in Philadelphia since Philly is a US Air hub - already the airline pundits are talking higher prices - we shall see. May be a good thing for PHL international - more choices and destinations - it would be nice to fly direct from Philly to Latin America without having to stop in MIA when I fly AA! Don't mind stoping in IAH when I fly United but I hate MIA!

Maybe Not
Denise....if you plan to fly to Central and South America using AA in the future....I have a strong feeling you will continue passing through MIA. AA continues to enlarge their facilities there and it appears the 'new' American Airlines will be using many of the existing USAir locations as 'feeders' through it.
Time will tell....but continue with your Spanish lessons and long distance walking exercises to expedite passing through MIA!- Ω -

The New American is Arriving | New American Arriving
Maybe this will help (or not). FYI, Doug Parker, famed CEO USAir will be at the helm. (no comment)"wherever you go, there you are"

I know many folks that fly US Air via PHL have nothing but bad things to say - there have been many articles in the local papers hoping that merging with AA will improve things. I have only flown US Air 1x and I have to say that is was not a pleasant experience.
