Yes! Kazbar in Scottsdale. It was an old speakeasy and you would miss it if you didn't know it was there! Like a Speakeasy it is sequestered so that you do not notice it from the street and it actually feels like you are underground or in a cave. Once you get in, it is a trip! Red velvet coaches, Eclectic globes and crystal and you might think somone was smoking hashish or doin some absinthe. Very very cool - hippy dippy trippy with a morrocan flare .... Great wine and awesome music ....
I haven't been to any of them.
kyshel, have you been to 20 Brix in Cincinnati?
No, I haven't--it's about 30+ minutes away and it's in Milford, Ohio--outer limits of the city. It looks quite nice, but the town is kinda redneck and speed limit in town is 25MPH--strict!!
We've had other wine bars/restaurant combos--most notably Chateau Pomije, which closed their doors and moved to their Indiana winery.
Wine bars? It's beer or Scotch for me.
I can drink almost any place!
