01-07-2011, 12:23 PMWe are long time fans of Andrew Harper's reports. We have never felt the need to join at a higher level than Discovery, which currently is $195 annually. AH has also turned us on to some exceptional restaurants, which we might have otherwise missed during our travels.
I agree with other postings in this thread, when Andrew Harper puts a stamp of approval on a property or restaurant, you can feel comfortable that you will have a great experience.

04-29-2011, 06:43 AMI should have gone ahead and spent the extra money and extra nights and bought the Hotel Titilaka package from Luxury Link.
I read the Andrew Harper review and it really does sound like the type of place I would enjoy.
Expensive but special.

michael_choe_ll,
I don't understand your joke about Lake Placid Lodge and believing in miracles? What are you referring to?
Can you enlighten me?

07-01-2011, 05:17 AMGuess AH expressed an opinion on the value (lessness) of a Michelin Guide rating.

Interesting list:
Andrew Harper Grand Awards 2012 | Andrew Harper
We have only stayed at two of the properties on the list, but would love to see Luxury Link add several of them for 2012.
We had an forgettable private wedding reception dinner at The Estate House restaurant in Jumby Bay (guess the food and service agreed with us....we're still together).
We would jump all over the Hotel Plaza Grande in Quito, if ever offered!
Anyone else in the community been to any of the properties?- Ω -

01-05-2012, 07:39 PMThe 2012 Andrew-Harper list is impressive.
We have not stayed at any of the top name hotels but we have eaten at Melissa Kelly’s PRIMO at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes.
Fabulous!
