Any March Madness plan?
I plan to watch most of the games at home or with friends. Anybody plan to watch the basketball games somewhere fun? On vacation?

Being the good Kentucky Girl that I am, sorry to say that I detest basketball; well, maybe the final four if forced. (I know it's dear to your heart, P!) Even Jerry Lucas couldn't teach me a layup shot.
Not in terms of watching games but it has been broached as a subject:
Who's Mad for March vacation??
Think I'll watch Thai boxing in bangkok"wherever you go, there you are"

I agree with you! I also detest basketball. With most basketball games, you only need to watch the last couple minutes, and if it's not close at the end, well then, it probably wasn't that exciting to watch the whole game anyway. This year however, I might get into it a little bit because our home team, the Buckeyes, have a good chance this year.

Well, Kentucky hung on to beat Princeton today, Kyshel. It was a very exciting game. I'm not sure how the two of you can detest basketball. It's a beautiful game. Thai boxing in Bangkok would be very exciting to watch. I watched it in Chiang Mai several years ago. My wife and I mistakenly sat in the section with the heavy bettors and they motioned to us that we would be better off moving to a less noisy section. I'm sure glad we moved because it got really crazy in the betting section. We were dumb farangs and had no idea what we were doing.

That's pretty funny because they now mention that point in the guidebooks! One even had a section about Being an Ignorant Farang. We will be in Hua Hin but I don't believe Elephant Polo is in season

Elephant polo? That would definitely be worth seeing.
