Do auction packages have to be used by the person who wins the bid and pays for the auction? I understand that packages cannot be re-sold without LL's consent. But if I won a bid and paid for the package, could I then give it to someone as a gift (i.e. make a reservation for my parents)?

kellbelle, Luxury Link does allow you to assign auction packages. You might wish to call the toll free telephone number for Luxury Link and speak with a Concierge prior to placing your final bid just to inform of your intent. How nice to think of your parents!

This is a great idea! My brother and I have been trying to decide what to do for my parents for Christmas and this solved it for us! We are now going to bid on one of these auctions that we thinkthey will like and buy it for them. This is a unique and exciting gift idea - thank you!

JulieBear, why not just buy them a gift certificate from LL and let them have the enjoyment of selecting the destination and participating in an actual auction?
