Can't wait to hear MORE!! That's the type of backwater cruise I mean. Even the 2-3 hour "cruise" on the Rio Negro, going to Ariau Towers... It was kinda like a large version of the African Queen--chug chug chug chug.....

We did a great cruise aboard a Flotel in Ecuador in the Amazon - only 16 cabins, pretty good food and great sights. Have done many Caribbean and Bermuda cruises. Much prefer the smaller ships - hate the large 2000+ ships.
The hubby was in the navy so he loves to be on the water.Roam if you want to, roam around the world...........
