Does anyone have information on some good websites that might have info on the best business class fares to Asia, and Vietnam in particular?
Thanks, Travel Queen

Re: Best Deal on Business Class Airfare to Vietnam
I have spent a great deal of time in 3 different Asia travel forums while preparing for a trip to Thailand. For what it's worth, several people there recommend Eva Air owned by cargo company Evergreen (interesting?).
I also found this:
www.airlinequality.com/Forum/eva.htm www.airlinequality.com/Forum/eva.htm
You may get good answers regarding from the mother site above.
Apparently they have some routes with premium services, but seems like they're the Asian JetBlue--many routes have only special coach but include upgrades.
I'll get more info from our interline forum--airline personnel who travel extensively and are always looking for a deal!!
Did you see the post I had regarding FF miles with partners? With some digging, I found a couple of business seats for RT travel Seoul/Bangkok for 30K each. If you have any miles/points to use, you can hire one of the TA's who specialize in getting you the best deal.
Korean Air is currently touting their service--all over my tv screen lately, so they may have specials to connect thru ICN. Thai Airways has a good reputation for service--it was my first choice for coach until I found the miles deal. Keep in mind also, that some Asian airlines have coach services that exceed US standards--like Singapore. I've had both good/bad experience in coach on Cathay Pacific (with a large tkt price to boot) same trip--night and day for service and comfort.
Try varied angles to get nbest prices--some like Expedia and Orbitz will give you only their affiliates, Travelocity and others will search more than the standard 3-4 legacy carriers.
I hope you saw the NYTimes article about getting the most out of websites posted here. Some good advice--along with article in Frommer's Budget Travel about using local travel agents in an ethnic neighborhood--like finding Vietnamese-run agency having a large business to/from that country--they get consolidators, etc for good prices. Just buy safely and all the usual caveats apply--pay w/credit card--no cks/cash, etc."wherever you go, there you are"

Re: Best Deal on Business Class Airfare to Vietnam
ch for more info on travelforum.org for additional assistance
as well as article in Frommer Budget Travel on Asia (not sure of date--they had lots about carriers/routes, etc)
I was amazed by the disparity of fares on some routes. What's your gateway? I saw first/biz class for barely double the coach price and some that were 5-6X the price to "fly up front".
Good luck and keep us posted here with any results--good or bad!"wherever you go, there you are"

Hi Travelqueen,
I like www.kayak.com to compare prices - you can't purchase from them, but they point you in the right direction. Do you have miles with any airlines? You might want to try purchasing a full-fare ticket and upgrading, that is usually a great way to go if you can find an available seat.

Hi Travelqueen,
Try http://www.sidestep.com which gives you the best prices of all major airlines for comparison, lets you select schedule and tells you who is selling this fare, like kayak, orbits, airtravel, etc.
