Kapama Karula safari lodge. Even the manager came out to meet us. She and her asst mgr wanted to know where I got that price!! It was almost the same for LL pkg for 3 nts as one nt without the extra perks.
I may go back to check my account--that's the most recent bargain I can recall..."wherever you go, there you are"

I would say we got the Ritz in Madrid at a rock bottom price (Mystery Auction). The art guide to the Prado as a welcome gift was an excellent extra as well as the museum tickets to the three major art galleries in Madrid.

I almost forgot!! The Westcliff Johannesburg was a Mystery Auction and with a GC, it was $120 for 3 nts in a suite (OE property) w/ bfasts, dinner and massages and limo from airport! (taxes, too!)
LLTF--any Ritz bargain is exactly that! I remember that one--I think Boss would sooner pull out his fingernails than go to 3 art museums, tho. Haha"wherever you go, there you are"

You were lucky. Great price on the Westcliff, but this must have been before LL disallowed VIP GC to be applied to Mystery Auctions.
Well, we happened to enjoy the great Madrid museums. I know it is not everyone's cup of tea. What was great about the Prado and the Thyssen was that they were so close to the Ritz. You could go there for a couple of hours in the morning, come back to the Ritz, have lunch in their Garden restaurant, put up your feet for a while and then mosey back to the museum for more..... At least we loved it. Only drawback was, we did not see much else of Madrid, so we have to come back some day to see the rest of Madrid.

There are quite a few great deals I've enjoyed from Luxury Link over the last several years. I would have to say that my best Luxury Link deal was by accident, when I bid on a Mystery Auction - Casa Palopo in Guatemala - and I forgot about it. Then a couple days later, I received the……"Congratulations, You Won!" email. It was also back when you could use a VIP Cert on a Mystery auction. So for a net cost of $246, the Luxury Link package provided us:
- 4 nights at Casa Palopo, upgraded to a junior suite
- A la carte Breakfast for two every morning
- Dinner for two one evening
- Boat trip across Lake Atitlan, with a visit to a local village
Life is too short.........travel now!

Many great deals on LL - Jicaro Eco Lodge was a great deal and we happened to be there when the British owner was there on one of her 2 yearly trips to the lodge and she told us all about how the lodge came to be, etc. My blog story coming soon!

Enjoyed many great deals on Luxury Link, but would have to say that the earlier deals at LL were better, had more perks and cost substantially less. We also had a great deal for Italy a few years back. It was like buy one Italian property and get $250 off on your next LL purchase. Those were fantastic deals.

After I spoke with a few folks at Jicaro and found out what they paid, the LL auction for Jicaro was a great deal - same for the Aqua Wellness package. However, I have found that once a LL package sells at auction a few times, the prices tend to go up or they totally disappear from LL forever - I have a feeling this may happen with Jicaro since they were pretty much booked when I was there and the owner told me they are starting to get a good amount of repeat customers.

Back in 2009, we nailed down an exceptional LL auction package. We were planning a trip to South American and as it happened, http://http://www.cliffspreserve.cl/english/ in the northern area of Patagonia popped up.
At the time, we paid about $1,500 less a VIP Cert credit for a 7 night stay (current rates for two would be approximately $11 - $14.5K).
The package included:
Villa Suite
Land Transfers In/Out
All Meals
Wine, Liquors, Soft Drinks
Guided Tours
Fishing Trip/River Excursion
Spa Treatment (one per person)
Horseback rides
Sea Excursion
Laundry Service
