Even AA is offering reasonably priced airfares for the end of April travel.

I hate succumbing to marketing temptations.

Oh, you Rogue!! How dare you buy such a great deal?? I looked long and hard at that one but we don't have the bids done for vacations next year and I am still under a buying moratorium...

Hi O. We visited Morgans Rock twice. Loved it! (PS-Jennifer from CP had been familiar with the property and staff.) It is a funky place.

kyshel.....the hands don't often line up for a package like the Morgans Rock promotional deal - right time of the year (after Easter when the snowbirds have departed FL and before the official start of Hurricane Season - lower probability of rain).....the flt schedules and fares out of MIA are better than usual.

b-j-03...'funk' is just fine with us.....can't be too off the wall, if you went back a second time.

btw, the Res Mgr at Morgans Rock has a Skype number - so I'm sure we'll video chat once or twice before arriving. They are also active on Twitter, we prefer that to Facebook.

If you can, discuss bungalow locations with them. Our first trip, we had the highest one. . BEAUTIFUL unless your husband had knee surgery and had to hike up each day!! The 2nd time we had a mid level with a beautiful ocean view. We loved it!!

I was considering Morgan's Rock but decided on Aqua and Jicaro instead. Isn't Morgans the one that you have to pay a 17% fee directly to the resort when you get there or is that Pelican Eye? The fee is based on the retail value and I think it came out to almost $300

The Morgans Rock package includes taxes and resort fees - Pelican Eye is the one with the 17% fee. MR is also more secluded and 'funky' (in the words of BJ3).

I did see that after going back and checking the packages. You will be going right after my Nica trip in March - we will have to compare notes!
