The Buddha-Bar Hotel - Prague
How about that Buddha-Bar Hotel offer in Prague?
Who is going to jump on that?
kyshel, you had a good time in Prague on your last visit. Why not do two or three nights at the Buddha?

Re: The Buddah-Bar
I saw it--for sure!! It's definitely one of the more "out-there" hotels in Prague. hmmmm... edgy vs classic?
Interesting concept, but I think I lean toward the Old World aspects of places like The Savoy or Le Palais.
As for the restaurant, I'll take dumplings on a terrace overlooking the Castle any day! Thanks for thinking of me!
PS--Delta is adding flights from JFK to PRG starting June...guess where I'm going this summer?"wherever you go, there you are"

Re: The Buddha-Bar
...or the Hotel Hoffmeister!
We usually end up stopping by the Buddha Bar in Paris for a late night "night cap".....not because it is such a nice club, or the music is tolerable or the drinks are reasonably priced.....it's just a unique place to see unusual people really trying to work their "mojo."
It is doubtful we would enjoy two nights at the Buddha-Bar Hotel in Prague....even if awarded to us free of charge! That said, next visit to Prague, we would stop by their bar for a late night "night cap" before heading back across the river to the Hotel Hoffmeister!Message Edited by omegaet on 05-08-2009 04:53 PM- Ω -

I've never been to a Buddah-Bar. What makes them so unusual?

Music is a big part of the Buddha-Bar experiencethere are probably a dozen or more of their stylized albums available on CD.
If you are into this type of musicyou might enjoy their new Prague hotel.

I have a friend headed to Prague this weekend. I'm going to send him an email and ask him to do a property inspection of the common areas at the Buddha-Bar and see if it is a place I would like.
Anyone else in the community paid a visit?

Finally got my report from my friends visiting Prague. They stopped by The Buddha-Bar Hotel for a couple of drinks and actually were shown a couple of the rooms/suites. They assured me this was not my kind of place. Nice for some people, but not my kind of place.
