Off the top of my head, I can think oftwenty trips with an additionalfour orfive trips being double trips (trips where we bought two packages of the same and used them back to back or with another couple. Out of all of these trips, we only had one trip which we were very disappointed and would never go back. As others have said, we have gone to places where we would not have gone without seeing the LL package. We have stayed in small castles, villas, luxury hotels and out of the way places that I wouldn't have thought of. Most of these packages were bargains in my opinion. I really don't understand the complaints about the $1.00packages in that even when the prices go up, they still arecheap if you look at the retail prices. The one trip I regret not bidding on was a package to Mongolia. My husband would not go. I should have gone by myself. All in all, I look at LL before I decide where we will vacation. My next consideration is travel time and price.

We've purchased from LuxuryLink several times and honestly, I can't recommend it highly enough. Initially, I was afraid that arranging a reservation after winning an auction would be a hassle. I was so wrong! Not only were the people at LuxuryLink extremely helpful, but the people we dealt with at the individual hotels bent over backwards for us. And the value for money was incredible. We've stayed at places that would have been outside of out budget if not for LL (The Lanesborough in London) and found places we would never have thought of if we hadn't seen them here (1801 First Inn in Napa). I now trust LL implicitly and look forward to our next travel opportunity. When we've stayed at a hotel thanks to LL, we're always careful to mention to the manager that we might not have found them if not for LL and that now we'll be recommending them to our friends. After all, we want them to know their marketing approach works so they'll offer more packages on LL!

Excellent idea, Fredhashway. I don't know why I didn't think of doing that myself. But from now on I will definitely mention LL to the manager/proprieter.
Think you will be a great addition to our group.

Thank you, Syrene, for that lovely welcome. While I'm certainly not new to LL, I'm brand new to this community and I wasn't sure if it was OK to jump in with both feet. But I love to travel and I love to write about travel (my friends know I'm the one to call for an opinion on where to eat in London or what to do with overtired kids in Disney) so I think this might be the place for me!
