Cancellation Insurance

How popular is thecancellation insurance available through the LL site. When you buy an auction or best buy packagedo you think that it is neccessary to also buy theinsurance? Interested in your opinions.

While I don't use cancellation insurance 100 % of the time, I have purchased it for cruises and for trips that we plan more than 6 months ahead. Who knows what will be happening that far in the future? Also, for high dollar trips, the insurance is part of our comfort level with the whole trip. Cheers...Marolyn

Sorry I appreciate your response, but all this time passed & somehow I missed it. Just wondering if you buy the insurance available on LL, or if you go another route? I always wanted to verify with regular travel insurance to inquire if they would cover travel purchased at auction.
