we're off to Belize, too--early May but we'll be in Hopkins--quite a bit less remote than they-don't-call-it-Journey's-End-for-no-good-reason!! Make sure you get your provisions before you get there; I hear it's way north on the caye! I have been back and forth about a zillion times and ended up choosing

I'll be very curious to compare--wish it were the same place/time--my husband would love to have a dive buddy!

Side note: did you know you can save some $ flying from the municipal airport to San Pedro even with RT cab fare?
I think the flight differences are over $100 and taxi is $25@way. Both on Maya Island and Tropic. It's only about $30 total difference for us so not worth the trouble.
