Concerning Boards
Hi everyone
I have been posting on different boards during the past few days. I'm wondering if anyone takes the time to go visit the other boards on the LL Community. There are different boards by destination - Caribbean, Europe etc. Everyone seems to be posting everything on the General Travel Q & A section. There are topics discussed her that really belong elsewhere on another board. LL Moderators can we pleasehave a board for Canada.

Re: Concerning Boards
Hi Two2go,
As you've probably seen I've been posting on a number of different boards as well. I suggested that LL create separate boards by geographical region on the LL tips board. Hopefully the moderators will take notice and change this sometime soon - right now the Worldwide board feels rather random as there's everything from African safaris to spas in Vietnam on there.
I suppose the danger of having multiple boards is that some of them will be underpopulated, at least at first, which might make new users think that no one is interested. Maybe there's some sort of critical mass which needs to be reached before a destination merits its own board...but I agree, Canada has definitely reached it!
Cheers,
Julian

Re: Concerning Boards
I have read quite a few threads on the week-end. Although I have found alotof them very helpful and interesting, there are also many that the LL Moderators should consider cancelling. A kind of a clean up...there aresome good points being lost in the middle of the ones that don't say much.

Re: Concerning Boards
Hi Two2go,
I agree that there should be some type of clean up or archiving of past threads, just due to lack of interest. The search feature works well for the LL community and this is a great way to locate past information. Perhaps there can also be a section where hot threads only appear (or a most active list).

Re: Concerning Boards
Hello,
It looks like the most active ones do float to the top, and as more new threads get posted the older / less relevant ones will get pushed down until they disappear. Right now they're hanging around because the community is still on the small side and the rate of new thread generation isn't high enough to push them down. So let's start some new threads!
Cheers,
Julian
