Convinced but still wary

I would add that using your credit card/registering one on file is kind of key. I won an auction but didn't get the confirming email for a couple of days during work. LL is quite specific on it's rules and if you do not pay with the allotted time they will repost and you will loose out on the auction.

The best way to avoid this is to have a cc ready for them to charge.

Separately, I just got back from Marbella and stayed at a LL hotel. A friend I made along the way stayed at another LL hotel. I will post all on a separate post to make it easy for anyone that might care about that part of Spain.

It sounds like you are convinced by other writers and I concur that everything has been absolutely fantastic. I use to just use the standard websites to figure out where to go. But where as my 4 and 5 star experiences have been mixed using an Expedia or travelocity, I've had nothing but the best from LL.

Thanks,Maylinglai and yes, I am now convinced!2 of my trusted and travel savy friends have been traveling on LL and they say it was fantastic. Quite timely, I must say because Id rather pay in US dollars rather than pay them in Euro for European destinations. The exchange rate is not working in our favour! In the past, I have been using tablethotels.com for trendy hotels and I go directly to the hotel and negotiate ( I work for a media company and they extend media rates for me ) But now, LL has some of these fantastic add-ons which are irresistable!
