Cosala Pueblo Magico
Hi... My daughter and I are off to Mazatlan in August and I'm thinking about going up to Cosala which is located in the hills of the Sierra Madre Mountains (about 3 hours away by car). This town is classified as one of the Puelbo Magico (there are 20 towns of such designation in Mexico). I'm wondering if anyone has been there? It is going to be very hot while we are there, so I want tobe sure that making this trek on rather rough, hot and dry roads will be worth it.
Thanks..

Hi jsattapr2,
Unfortunately, we did not get out to Cosala... mainly due to the weather (it tended to storm overnight and flood a lot of the roads...and when it wasn't raining it was just way too hot!). It's a long drive (3 hours) on a tough road, and one I would like to do when it is cooler and less buggy!
