DestinationBids . . . Has anyone used this?

I recently discovered DestinationBids on the internet. Has anyone used this website and, if so, what was your experience? Good, bad, indifferent? The bidding process seems a little complicated.

I haven't heard of them or used them.

Maybe I didn't read everything thoroughly but I find this site confusing and amateurish in appearance. The explanation of the "highest unique bid" process in order to win was confusing.

All of the auctions have wording that references airfare but with no further info on specifics. The fine print for each auctions says..."ALL PRICE QUOTES LISTED ON THIS SITE, EITHER RETAIL OR BUY IT NOW, ARE PRICED OUT OF JFK. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE PRICE OF THE PACKAGE IF "YOU" THE BUYER WILL BE FLYING OUT OF A DIFFERENT AIRPORT. IF THE PRICE OF THE FLIGHT INCREASES DUE TO CHANGE IN THE AIRPORT, THEN "YOU" THE BUYER, WILL HAVE TO COVER THE PRICE INCREASE."

For the packages being offered, I couldn't find either specific dates or a range of available dates.

There aren't many packages being offered - only 7 right now.

Although it says you can view the past auction results by clicking on "Winners", there are no records there.

I don't like the idea of having to purchase credits upfront before you even bid on something. So if you don't win an auction, you're out the upfront cost, I guess? And the bid credits are charged for each bid made on an auction.

If you don't win an auction, you do not get any money/credits back unless you purchase a "buy now" package within 30 days. I couldn't see the "Buy Now" prices without registering on the website.

The auction closes once the "required quantity of bids" is received. How is that determined?
