Hi kyshel and disneygal,
I tend to agree with you both that the the whole organization of topics needs a little more rethinking. It would greatly help to add a date of the last post and subject/topic next to each board name, so you can quickly see where recent posts have been added. As the board expands, more and more topics are being thrown into the General Discussions and Luxury Link Tips boards and by the time one wades through the main categories one often neglects to check the numerous sub-boards....

Another great idea O you certainly are computer literate! It seems we have a consensus that interaction through the private messaging system would be beneficial for reviews of particular properties.I would again like to ask LL toadd on the short auction ads the valid dates This would really speed up time spent when searching all auctions It is frustrating to read of a property and package to find that the dates you are looking for are not valid - 3 pages in!!! Please post valid dates up front - at first glance in the auction blurbs Thank you ...Funtimes

Now funtimes I think that is a really good idea. For our last vacation to Italy, I bid on a package for Tuscany. There were two packages available for this particular property. I somehow got a little mixed up & bid on the one were the blackout dates mentioned were the dates I needed. That could have been a major error. Thankfully it worked out just fine. Your suggestion would make the blackout dates clearer.

Thanks 22go I was begining to wonder if I am the only one with Valid dates problem!!! I am spending way too much time on trying to purchase packages now. I think the old system showed validity sooner.I just spent the past HOUR looking through all auctions from the last page forward - so that you can have time to bid- arrange airfare etc, only to find that many places we would be interested in did not have the dates we wanted. This is so frustrating! Does anyone know of a better way? We are looking at many destinations - so the destinations or dates place does not apply. We want to explore all options For example, in attempting to extend an LL package already purchased we need certain dates ie anniversary etc The package we bought is valid until June of 2008 We would also like to purchase a fall destination and a holiday destination You can see where I'm going here - with all these trips in mind a QUICK way to see valid dates for auction destinations would be very helpful. Otherwise you find a location click- then click again to current offer and finally see the dates available. PLEASE LL GIVE US VALID DATES IN THE DESCRIPTION OR AT LEAST ON THE FIRST PAGE!...Funtimes

PS I've missed the community and sharing information since so much time is now spent in the planning and bidding of various trips happy Travels!

LL_Editor & jhart_ll Editor...in reading a recentpost in another Thread under Tips regarding the exclusive use the Community Announcement Thread as a source of one-way communications to the community members, we noticed you mentioned a movement toward "bigger community initiatives." Is this a "heads up" for some major changes coming in the structure of LuxuryLink or the Community structure? Therehave been a number ofgood ideas and suggestions generated through this community, some of which have already be instituted. It would be of interest if you could elaborate on this comment
