K...you are sooo lucky. What a nice parting gift! Awasi had a beautiful leather Awasi luggage tag for us along with nuts. Nice! The Cliffs had a wood box made for us from their wood working department. It had our names engraved along with the date we visited The CLiffs Patagonia...WOW.........

bonniejoy03....what about the personalized DVD from The Cliffs? Well, actually, you got two DVDs...one that didn't work property and one that did work properly and even included special handling!

We do take the soaps, shampoos, etc. if they are an interesting or local made brand - make for nice additions when others need them - 2 of our interns recently had a fire at their apt. complex and lost everything - they loved the toilet articles I gave them as part of my donation. The 1st place I stayed that provided slippers was Blancaneaux loge and the hubby asked if we could take the slippers and they said "yes, that is why they are there" so ever since we always take the slippers and are building up a collection. A few of theplaces we stayed also let us take the bathrobes - that was a nice treat!

Thanks D and very nice use of the soaps and shampoos! Nice to hear FF Coppola's place suggested you take the slippers...I like that! I have never seen anything about the bathrobes; we have always seen a price to purchase the robes.

Mesones Sacristia gave us a nice Talavera bowl filled with local cookies and candies as a parting gift - that was nice
