Do you have any ugly luggage?
I do. I have an ugly hard side avocado green suitcase from many years ago. Maybe you have some too?

Now you can turn travel trash into treasure. Here's a way someone put ugly suitcases to a good use - for pet beds at a dog rescue.

Has your dog or cat ever jumped into your suitcase & settled down on your clothes while you're packing? A few times after I arrived at my location, I actually found a pet toy that someone packed in my suitcase. Isn't that thoughtful? I had a toy to play with while on the road!Last edited by jmbklj; 11-15-2012 at 06:27 PM.

I have some old Samsonite hard sided cases and some old Hartmanns - I use them to store things - scarves, gloves, hats, etc. I also have some of the old Samsonite hard train cases - perfect for storing all those small travel size shampoos, lotions, etc. ;-)

I got rid of all my old luggage--I just gave it to some friends taking stuff to family in Europe.
I never had a cat get in my bag--just in my portable drill case. My best friend had 2 cats that got very angry when she packed for a buying trip to NY, so they piddled in her open suitcase. She threw out all the clothes and got the vendors to sell her samples. Talk about a buying trip!
Old suitcases would make fun decor in a guest room...just like vintage trunks and train cases.
That's a fun website. I like this page:
