If you pack your clothes, folded, in Ziplock bags, you can pull items from the bottom without wrinkling anything near the top of the luggage. Do not seal the bags, they flatten out beautifully I include at least one extra bag, so always have a way to keep clean and dirty clothes separate

I always roll clothes this prevents wrinkles also pack a baggie of laudry detergent or woolite small packs for laudry on the go When we overpack - as we alldo - we occasionally leave clothes with a Donation sign on them in our room, Often - especially in impoverished areas these articles are appreciated and our load is lightened so that we have more room for our souveniers from our travels. funtimes....we follow many of your points in the above post.....plus, we always take along an emptyroll-up mid-size light weight duffel bag. The duffel bag becomes our laundry and souvenir bag. We have found more and more airlines imposing stricter weight restrictions on checked luggage and a substantial surcharge for going over their limits. Typically, we can get away with dragging the duffel bag on-board and finding some place to stow it.

VIPc....we also pack my dirty socks on top of everything else in the duffel to discourage the security personnel from digging around in the bag and holding us up in the pre-boarding security screening...even with thoselatex gloves, they seem toshorten the process.Quote:

You guys are so funny - here we are talking about laundry OK a deep dark secret and one I'm often teased about - especially from my work associates - I actually mail home laundry sometimes Then you can pack lighter on the way home and you have no laundry to do for approx 2 days after your arrival - A bit gross but it works for me! ...Funtimes
