Hello,
A couple of years ago we used our Delta FF miles for business tickets on Emirates from Boston (thru JFK) to Dubai. Then wepurchased tickets from Dubai to the Maldives. My understanding is that Delta has dicontinuued its affilliation withEmirates and that FF tickets had to be acquired by 12/31/06 and be used by 12/31/07. We really enjoyed the Emirates experience - better than the other business class, long trips which we have experienced. Does anybody know if Emirates is now affiliated with another US carrier???? We are on the East Coast - so we have little interest in heading the west route to get to the Mladives - have always gone east alothough with different air carriers/through different cities - likes Emirates the best. Thanks for any info!

Re: Emirates
Hi, Continental Airlines and United Airlines are partners ofEmirates so don't know if these would be of any use to you. If you go on to the Emirates Airline website then go to "Skywards", it tells you about all the "partners" affiliated with Emirates.

Re: Emirates
While it's possible to earn Continental miles flying on Emirates, I was told by someone I spoke with at Continental that it is virtually impossible to book an Emirates flight using Continentalfrequent flier milesas few if any seats are allocated on Emirates for Cont. ff's.
Just a heads up if anyone is hoarding Continental miles and hoping to use them for an Emirates flight.
(I was hoping to use mine for a flight to the Maldives).
