Extra Day at hotel?

Good Afternoon,

I'm new to the site and just have a question!

If I bid on an auction and win a 5 night stay for instance. However, I want to stay for 7 night and just want to pay for the other nights at regular price. Can I arrange that through the site or would I contact the hotel?

Auctions have a set number of nights. If available, the Buy Now option might have flexibility to add more nights. I usually have the hotel give me a price for additional nights but I would ask LL Concierge if they do that any more. Buy Now is more $/night but less worry.
We've added nights after our stay commenced, but only once, and it was directly w/hotel.

I have added on nights to a number of my packages. I always just worked directly with the hotel--the price is never as good.

I've had 2 experiences adding nights. One we worked directly with the hotel and they gave us a great deal by giving us the same nightly price we paid for the auction. The other time, the LL concierge just gave us the same nightly price as the buy now price for the addition.

Thanks for the tip G.....I have never added on but it is good to know you had a great experience with the hotel and with LL. (was it a US or out of country property-just curious.)

I've worked with the Luxury Link Concierge Team on a couple of trips for extra days added to packages. The major advantage, at least in my cases, involved the hotels agreeing to the same daily rates, as well as taxes and fees. Not the case when I checked directly with the hotels.

It was both. One was international and one was in California.

Good to know that you got as favorable rates as the buy now package by going through LL concierge.
