has anyone used farecast.com? it's a price comparison site like priceline, expedia, etc. but it also performs airfare prediction.

Hi michael_choe_ll,
I just checked farecast.com. It seems to work just fine, and yes, I like the added feature of airfare predictions. Good find, thank you. I still like sidestep.com which gives you a side by side airline/price/schedule comparison.

Re: farecast
Looks like a great idea -- at least if you live in the US as the fare prediction option doesn't appear to be available for non-US departures. Sigh...

Re: farecast and airfare
Thanks M. I had seen the article. I always check tickets daily. It is soooo funny how these flights can change daily. I also found that very early in the morning is a great time to catch a great fare. YAPTA really helps with some of this research!

Re: farecast
Thanks for forwarding this useful information. though it is helpful to get an idea about the future trend of prices but I always prefer to check all the sources to get the best bargain deal as there are many factors that decide last time prices.
