Just a reminder, there is a requirement to notify LL in advance of your intent to use the coupon.



With a previous promotional coupon (not this one for $500) I made the mistake of bidding at the last minute and then calling LL afterwards to apply it to my purchase. They said it was too late and to use the coupon next time. Don't let this happen to you!



"IMPORTANT: When you anticipate using your Gift Certificate on a Luxury Link travel purchase, please let us know in advance at [email protected], and we will prepare your account for the application of the credit on your next auction or other transaction."

Thank you Disneygal for drawing that to our attention. I probably would have done the same as you and bid on the auction then contacted L.L. I will make sure I remember this wheni decide to bid on an auction.

Your heads-up advice is timely and greatly appreciated. Like mary-j, I would have bid/bought a propertyBEFORE contacting LL to tell them I'd want to apply my certificate.

In hindsight,on checking the E-mail I got from LL Community advising me ofmy new VIP Contributor status, I now see in the small print a note to the effect that one needs to contact LL BEFORE going to bid or buy a travel package. Of course, in the excitement of receiving the good news about becoming a VIP, Ifailed to read the whole E-mail.

Hi disneygal,
I had a similar thing happen to me. LL Customer Service told me, that in the future, if I wanted to use a voucher, I should remove my credit card information from the profile, that way the voucher would not slip through the crack. I dit that, and it worked fine. LL e-mailed me and I gave them the voucher info plus my credit card info. After that, I re-entered my credit card info for future processing.
