Great place for a marriage proposal?

Please recommend great, memorable places for a marriage proposal. A friend wants to "pop the question" during his summer vacation. I have introduced him to LL, and he wants several sites so he can begin bidding on a winning site to make a winning proposal. Both folks are physicians so the world is open.

Oh marolyn, what a great question! I would have to say Bora Bora. Out on the balcony of an overwater bungalow.... We went to Bora Bora as part of our honeymoon trip. Nothing else has compared as a beautiful, romantic location. There are some good LL packages too!

This is a very difficult question as there are so many beautiful places perfect for the task in hand, especially if money is no object.If he is looking for somewhere unique and romantic then a few suggestions would be The Caves in Jamaica, Le Casa Que Canta in Mexico and Laluna in Grenada. Unfortunately not all my suggestions are available through L.L. yet. In my opinion, if I was being proposed to, I cannot think of a more romantic place than Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa in Dubai. I don't know if Dubai would be an option as there are still lot's of people who are a little apprehensive about going there as it is a middle Eastern country, but please believe me when I say that it is the most wonderful and safest destination in the world. Al Maha isunique and it is total escapism at it's best. What is more romantic than dining either under the stars or as the sun is setting across the desert. This place totally blew me away when I saw it. Everyone who visits Al Maha has nothing but praise for it. They will both be treated like Royalty. Tell your friend to check out the reviewson it on trip advisor. He won't be disappointed. Let us know where he finaly deides on. It would be very interesting tohear where he finally decides on. Now this suggestion really is unique. Please let me know the travel time and recommended recovery from jet lag. Since both are physicians, they just have a week to do the whole trip. Thanks...Cheers.
