Hi O
Sounds like you've found another great contest. I 've got two things working against me...first of all Canadians are not permitted. Second we are not available during the middle of July, because we will also be visiting Italy as you are O, if I am not mistaken. I guess we will have better luck next time.

I signed up for this travel contest from Delta Airlines and just received my first email notification. I wasn't selected as one of the travel teams, but I still have the opportunity to earn Sky Miles by voting on the travel videos posted by the competitors. Maybe some of the other members would like to earn some Delta Sky Miles to add to their account. Thank you.

In case anyone wants an update on the Delta Air Lines SiteSeer Challenge: This could be a lot of fun to watch!
"Ten Delta customers packed their bags and their cameras Thursday as they headed to Budapest for the first round of the SiteSeer Challenge, a new virtual travel contest hosted on delta.com. The five teams each will capture their visit to Budapest on video, and delta.com users will be able to vote for their favorite teams virtual tour.
Through our partnership with American Express were sending the competing two-member teams to as many as four international cities that we serve during four-day weekends. The teams will complete various activities that highlight these destinations and capture their travel adventures on video. The team with the fewest votes will be eliminated and the remaining teams will travel to the next destination to complete a new video. The final winning team will receive a grand prize travel package including 1 million SkyMiles and 400,000 Hilton HHonors points.
Our SiteSeer Challenge is a fun way to bring a few lucky travelers and the online public to some of the most incredible international destinations we serve, said Mark Krolick, managing director-Worldwide Marketing Communications. Delta.com will enable visitors from around the world to view the videos and vote for the ultimate travel team: the Delta SiteSeers.
The public viewing and voting period begins on Aug. 6 at delta.com/challenge and ends on Sept. 19 when the final two competing videos are posted. Well announce the winner on Sept. 21.""wherever you go, there you are"

Hi Kysel
That's a great update. This challenge sounds alot like the T.V. series The Amazing Race. I wonder if the activities they must complete are as adventureous as the ones on T.V.

I looked at the videos the teams submitted and they are so clever. I haven't seen the Budapest trip video yet--just another project for today. The blogs have been pretty amusing!
Omegaet--thanks for posting the initial report--we may have missed it otherwise."wherever you go, there you are"
