Finished fishing in Key Largo over Thanksgiving, now getting ready to drive back home for Chirstmas and then probably back to the keys for some more fishing and sunshine.

Hey M....we caught 10 trout (brown and rainbow) in Chile. (hubby got 5 and I got 5). Not bad for our first time trout fishing on a river! It was a lot of fun. Did the "spinners" and not fly fishing. Great experience!

mountie...we are back (after three weeks) from Chile, including our stay at The Cliffs Preserve....we are just getting ourselves together.



If you enjoy fresh water fishing, then as bonniejoy03 mentioned, you will certainly want to consider a trip to the lakes region in Chile (and of course, stay at The Cliffs Preserve, if at all possible).

This is where the "serious" and "seriously wealthy" go to catch the big ones during February....we're talking hiring helicopters to fly them and their boats to lakes and streams all but inaccessible by any other forms of conveyance.
