How Did You Find LuxuryLink?

How did you originally discover LuxuryLink? Did you read about it in a publication or did someone refer you? We sawour firstarticle in USAToday several years ago and decided to log on and investigate.

I have never seen Luxury Link advertised anywhere here in the UK. I found it by chance one day while surfing the web. I typed in "luxury resorts around the world" (or something along those lines) and then just went down the list checking out all the websites. Luxury link was among that list. When I found it, I was so impressed with all the resorts and hotels they were featuring that I signed up for e-mails from them. I had never seen so many luxurious resorts. AlthoughI never considered bidding on the auctions,I always would go and refer to it for ideas for places to stay for my next holiday. Now that I have joined the community and read all your threads, I now will definately bid on their auctions,but, as there are so many wonderful places to stay, i am still finding it very difficult to choose one. I am definately gladI stumbled across their website. Well done L.L.!!

You know what I think I started bidding on LL since 2003. I found out about it at Manior Hovey, in the eastern townships of Quebec. We were checking out, and someone at the front desk mentioned it. We've been with LL ever since.

I was referred by a friend to LL , but I also see a lot of advertising for it as well. In addition I just referred 6 new people to the site last night after telling them what great properties and deals LL is offering. I think a referral program should be enacted, hopefully sometime soon !

I think I was researching travel online just after LuxuryLink began (it must have been 5 ot 6 years now, right?) and stumbled upon the site. I couldn't have asked for a better selection of luxury resorts and destinations. And I think the auction aspect appeals to the gambler in me....

VIP7....we had dinner with some friends last evening, with whom, we have taken two LL auction trips (Ecuadorian rainforest[no longer available] and the Orient-Express Peru trip). They have since taken two additional LL trips with other friends and referred several new people to the the web site. I think the more welearn about how othermembers have found their way into this community, the more the LL staff can focus their best efforts to grow this company. As we have discussed in another thread, an incentive referral program for new members and new propertieswould likely stimulatemany of us and benefit LL.

we discovered LL on a travel magazine site it think it was travel & leisure that was in 2001 and won are first auction in 2002 We went to Edinbugh Scotland to a small hotel called Channings. I think they still do some with LL but that was a great package. 4 nights, dinner and tickets to a show. Had a great time and now we are on our 14th with more to come. Welcome to the group.

I was watching Samantha Brown on the Travel channel one day. She was talking about Rome and suggested that you check out her web site for further information. I did; found an ad on this site taking me into the world of Luxury Link. I have been to Spain using LL and to Venice, & Rome so far. This year I have bid on and won bids for Prague and Spoleto. I can't imagine finding a better deal than through this site. It seems to me that all participating Hotels on this site go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy and will write a favorable review when they return home. It really is all the "extras" that make travel so special using this site. Guess what? I'm hooked!!!!

Hi,
We saw an early article in the Travel Section of the New York Times around 2000/2001 that described an African Safari the authors had taken on Luxury Link. The article gave the LL link, we checked it out and I have been hooked on it ever since.

I must have clicked on some link from another website, and life has never been the same. I was looking for small boat cruises and somehow found an auction for the SeaDream. I placed my bid and I've been hooked ever since!
