How does LL find and add properties to their offerings?

I was interested in knowing how LL finds and adds properties to their offerings? Do properties contact you? Do you have a sales force on the road visiting prospects? Do you review our suggestions of properties to add? Thanks!

bj, I'm interested in the answers too! I wonder what the LL criteria is for selecting properties.

I believe LL has a sales/account management staff that works with the properties.

One thing I was thinking about......

From our perspective, we may think of LL as a "travel" company but it is really an "advertising" company from the perspective of the LL properties. So I wonder if that is one characteristic that is unique for the properties compared to other online travel firms like snique away or jetsetter - the LL properties have a longer, and more prominent, ad life here than on the other sites.

Then of course one of the other things that sets LL apart and above the rest is their service provided by the concierge team. So they have separate staff to service both sets of customers.

bonniejoy03...I think this queston has been asked at least once and maybe several times before. I don't think there has ever been a direct answer. Could be a trade secret. I know some of the suggested properties you have offered have appeared.....and some I have suggested have been offered as well. Probably other members have done the same.
