bonniejoy03, how did you gain access to the American Airlines Admirals Clubs on your recent trip to Argentina? Was it through the use of credit card passes?

We got the 30 day pass. FANTASTIC. We used it in Miami, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and back in Miami. Great deal and great relaxation. We had a 6 hour layover in Miami on the way down. We were able to find a cute little section and just set up shop! Had drinks, food, shower, etc. I would definitely use the pass again. I think it was a great idea by AA.
Now that AA & USAir have announced their upcoming 'wedding,' it will be interesting to see how they deal with top tier travelers and the combined FF programs. Expecting the worse and hoping for the best!
Unless you are top tier FF or other rewards user I think these rewards are starting to have less and less use or importance.
Well....'inflation' is certainly occurring with most of these loyalty programs (but then, 'inflation' seems to be popping up all over the place)....we want to wring out every possible award and 'perk' associated with these programs while we can.
Enjoy!
If you make it out to Kalaheo you might want to try this great stop and refuel on carbs:

I don't have a Hyatt credit card yet, but I have a Hilton Honors card and a Marriott Reward card. I haven't used my points for hotel rooms yet, but I find the points helpful since you can transfer them (although not at a 1:1 ratio) when you are short of some airline ff miles to make an award.
